Greek data creation

Question

I heard the term "Greek text" for dummy obscure text for testing in QA.

Is this the correct term? If so, how do we create this data?

I think you mean Lorem Ipsum .

In addition to Lorem Ipsum, you can also consider:

The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy sleeping dog. 

... repeated as often as necessary.

This particular sentence is used because it contains every letter of the English alphabet. More for graphic design, I guess, but still an option for dummy data.

This site has an excellent generator and offers “regular” Latin Greek along with some more interesting options. Pseudo German and Hillbilly are my personal favorites.
