Android cell broadcast support?

Question

Does anyone know if there is support for cell broadcasting on Android? If so, can someone point me to any example that shows how to use it? (e.g. receive messages on a channel)

There are many sites that appear on Google about this.

I think that in some countries there are restrictions - Brazil, for example, will only allow you to use channel 50 (from what I read).
