Cron trigger starts at half an hour every hour

Question

Can someone suggest a way to set a Cron trigger to run at half an hour every hour?

So far I have one working hour at "0 0/60 * * *?".

I look at "0 0/30 * * *?" for everyone?

I would use 30 * * * * to run the command half every hour.

Keep in mind that in crontab you define a pattern that matches the current time, not the exact time. Every minute crond wakes up and compares the current time with your template, and if there is a match, run the command.

Use this:

• 0 0/30 * * *?

not "30 * * * *", as this will fire every 30 seconds.
