Facebook like a button

I have problems with Facebook as a button on my pages. On some pages (not all), I get a red error message next to a similar button. When clicked in error, it says “The page in ____ cannot be reached.”

The Linter URL shows everything that is fine with my pages.

What else should I check?

Using Javascript + XFBML, without iframes.

This error occurs if a page similar to the page is not available on Facebook servers. Are you testing this locally? Is it in a password protected area? If either of these things is true, Facebook will not be able to find the page and will assume that real users also cannot find it.
