I'm trying to find an idea for my third year project related to mobile programming with Android or J2ME. Does anyone have a new mobile app idea? or at least something worth working on it for the third year of the project?

It is more useful if this is done for ballroom dancing: waltz, tango, cha-cha-cha, rock-n-roll, jive, foxtrot, slow, rumba, etc. It would be great to have an application that tells what kind of music it is and how to dance. It will also improve your dance knowledge. It would be great.

VIM keyboard for Android. Given that Android does not have a mouse, a keyboard that allows you to quickly combine VIM shortcuts would be amazing.

The project will have potential for use by many programmers who want a decent editor and therefore will look good on CVs.

Choose one of your hobbies or interests and ask yourself what the app can do on your mobile phone to help you do it better. It’s better to choose what you are interested in and wish to spend time learning how to do programming than to get stuck in a thoughtless “interesting” problem suggested by someone else.

Basically, pick a technological itch and scratch it! Good luck ...
