IPhone App Display Name

If I have an iPhone app named: MyCoolApp

How to save a bundle with a name: MyCoolApp.app

But there is an application name that appears under my icon: My Cool App

I changed the PRODUCT_NAME target parameter to "My Cool App" and changed my plist CFBundleDisplayName and CFBundleName to "MyCoolApp". While my app name on the device is still reading "My Cool App"

I am still pretty green. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Sometimes when changing project properties this does not work. The Project Properties and Target Properties windows look the same. I was wrong there sooo many times .;)

You may need to remove the application from the device and restart it for the changes to take effect.

The best way to do this is to use a key called the Bundle Display Name. It should be added to info.plist.

DO NOT CHANGE PRODUCT NAME TO BUILDING SETTINGS. This is not a good approach, as it changes the package identifier. All you need to change is the product label.

Note. Be sure to include this in info.plist in your project. Also follow these steps: info.plist.
