How to enable contextual context menu of a click (context menu) in MonoDevelop?

Question

Right-clicking (or clicking "Control" since I'm on a Mac) does not display context menus for solutions or projects.

For example, in Visual Studio, I would right-click on a solution to add a new project to the solution. I looked through all the menus and cannot find the add project command.

Also, how to add a folder to the project? Again, this will be available from the context menu in VS, but I cannot find it anywhere in MonoDevelop.

Control-click does nothing for me in any part of MD. Even in a text editor. Is there a setting to make her behave the way I expect her?

Should these options also be available through the main menu?

Apparently, this was a known issue and has been fixed. It was a bug in the gtk + library. Single mice were not supported.

I don’t know why I see this error now on my computer with OSX 10.6.4, on which the latest version of MonoDevelop is installed.

Turning on a 2-button mouse is an adequate job. I can right click and get the context menus that I was looking for.

These functions are where you expect to find them, exactly where you said. The context menu of the solution contains Add> Add a new project, and in the context menu of the project added> New folder

I am on a macbook, so I can use the old double finger, instead of CTRL + Clicking all time. Not sure why CTRL + Click doesn't work for you.

EDIT:

Control-Click anywhere in the solution explorer seems to invoke a context-sensitive context menu. Control-Click, while the selected solution displays the context menu of the solution, and if the project is selected, the context menu of the project.

Control + click does not work, but a two-finger touch brings up a context menu on my Macbook Pro. Check the "Trackpad" settings in the system settings to see how you have additional click settings on your Mac.
