Is there a way to check or show which users are currently logged in?

Is there a way in drupal to check or show which users are currently logged in? I want users who are logged in to see who else is located. Is this possible, and if so, how?

Drupal Core has a Who Online block. Turn this on to show a list of online users.

One of the default Drupal blocks is called Who's Online. There are two parameters that you can change for this block: user activity (how long users are still considered online after viewing the page) and the length of the user list (the maximum number of currently displayed online users).
