For Windows 7 users, I have completed the following steps:

  • Download Sublime Text 2 Editor for Windows (I chose the 32-bit version - Build 2126).

  • Install it:

There are two points where the program installs archives:

    • C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Sublime Text 2 (program)
    • C: \ Users [username] \ AppData \ Roaming \ Sublime Text 2 (optional packages)
  • Go to the Sublime Text 2 package for developing Cappuccino and load it into the zip button.

  • Create a new Directory-J task in C: \ Users [username] \ AppData \ Roaming \ Sublime Text 2 \ Packages

  • Copy all email content into the new Objective-J directory.

If you open a file with the extension ".j", it will be highlighted and the code will be predicted.

  • Restart Sublime Text 2 Editor

Know the problems:

1 - I had problems with some files in the Cappuccino-Sublime / Misc directory when I tried to unpack it, because the file name has the characters <","> "and" "" and windows, t allow these characters in the file names.

I just copied it unchanged, and the highlight and forecasts seem to work.

Sublime Text 2 works well with the extension for Mate.

Despite the fact that it may not have all intelisense, etc., I prefer Visual Studio for any form of development - even if it is not supported especially :)

There is a Visual Studio extension called ObjjTools to support the ObjectiveJ language and the cappuccino shell. This extension is available under vs2010 / 2012 and makes it easy to process your files with syntax highlighting. I am working on code completion and hope that in a few months I will get something. To install it, go to Tools-> Extension Manager ... then select online and enter objj in the search bar.
