IAd does not appear in my application that I just released

Okay, that's why I went on a limb with an iAd passion and released my new iad-enabled app for free. It took me a long time to figure out how to set everything up so that the banner "only show when there is an ad to show."

Now my application is live and I do not see any banners! Does an apple sometimes decide from time to time to throw a bone at you and show you an ad? How it works? Does the fact that nothing is displayed in my application now means that iads are not working or just hiding? Please, help!

Ps- I am running ios 4 on my iPod touch 2g 8gb ... can iads not work on iPod?

iAd is not displayed if your application has just been released. A few more days are required to review iAd compliance. Once your app’s iAd has been approved, you’ll see requests on the iAd Report page. I waited 3 days for my first iAd-enabled application to see its first requests.

Suppose you have deployed and tested iAd in your application, and there are no network connectivity issues.

As I already knew, you can see the iAd banner if you use the iPhone / iPod app in the USA.

It just turned out that this could be due to a limited inventory of ads: Can't see iAd in the program?

I just released the first version of my app ( MIDI Designer Lite ) with iAds yesterday. iAds took over 24 hours to start showing .

Of course, you need to make sure that iAds are shown in the test application, and also that you have the “iAd Advertising Network Enabled” in iTunes Connect for the corresponding application.

Note. You can find out all the iAds indicators present in your application and make adjustments here . p>

(PS iPod touch can show ads, as well as any other device)

I just launched the application and see the same thing - I went to the workbench iAD and saw this message:

iADWorkbench: when you submit your application for approval, it will also be reviewed by iAd for use on the application network to determine its appropriateness to receive advertising from iAd advertisers. Once your application is approved, you will be ready to start earning revenue from advertising that you run in your application.

But I also did as @markussvensson suggests, and just ask them if something is wrong.

Update: Received a response from Apple:

Once your application is approved and ready for sale, it is checked by iAd to determine its acceptability for receiving advertisements from iAd advertisers. This process takes several days.

Once the app is approved by iAd, you can start to see the announcement of the experience. You can track ad performance and revenue from anytime from the iAd reporting module in iTunes Connect.

The iAds review process seems to be disconnected from the AppStore. I had one app that was approved and ready to serve in real time.

But no requests were received, even after waiting for the proposed 4-5 days. After talking with Apple, it turned out that the application was classified as “designed for children” and therefore was not allowed to serve iAds (in accordance with the iAds policy https://developer.apple.com/support/appstore/iad-app-network/ ) Please note that the classification is not related to the “Made for Kids” classification in the AppStore.

Summary. Your application may not have been approved by iAds. No one will tell you until you contact Apple.
