Current state of JavaScript template engines?

A few months ago I was looking for a good JavaScript template engine and settled on the one made by Trimpath .

I really like it, but I have a few wishlist items:

Are there any other great template engines released in the last year or so that I should be aware of?

Update: I thought I would be back and updated this so that people would know that we settled on Handlebars.js. We have several months of experience with our collective belts, and we are very pleased with our choice. It has the basics, and you can create helpers that provide you with additional capabilities if necessary.

There is also ICanHandlebarz (similar to ICanHaz for Mustache) and http://tryhandlebarsjs.com/ so you can try before buying, so to speak.

Now I will return you the original answer that I gave.

We review JavaScript template engines because there are so many of them, and they have many different syntax and profile profiles (some are compiled, some are not, etc.).

Unfortunately, our favorite solution was jQuery Templates, and it did a great job. Now this is outdated software and the proposed replacement for it (JsRender) is not near ready for use at the time I am writing this (October 2011). Therefore, when there is so much to choose from, after we have received satisfaction, we were completely satisfied, we suddenly gradually again and try to find a replacement.
