What to call part of a URL

So, I have a Uri base:

https://graph.facebook.com/

Well, you can add various helper paths to your API:

 /me/friends /322323232 etc.

So, you will get something like this for your API calls:

 https://graph.facebook.com/me/friends?access_token=2343sdfse43.....

What would you call the /me/friends this URL? I mean, this is not Uri. Uri - the first part.

There must be some official name to call subdirectories under Uri right? or not?

URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) is a whole line . Also note that the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) and URI do not match; A URL is a subset of a URI. See the Wikipedia article for information.

In your example, /me/friends is known as the path .

I would call it a "path" or a "route."
