What is the recommended JSF 2.0 area for a CRUD application?

I was wondering which area to use for a CRUD application. Using @ReqeustScoped causes access to the database for each request. With @SessionScoped, data can be cached in a managed bean, but can cause so-called session bloat. It is also more difficult to update data. What would you suggest? Is there a better solution. Thanks, Theo

That's right, you want the area between them: @ViewScoped . This coverage is maintained as long as you submit and go to the same view.
