Deploy app on couchdb

Question

I would like to deploy my application on couchdb. You have several queries regarding the same.

1) Is couchapp the only way to install apps on couchdb?

2) Can we only deploy javascript / HTML in couchdb?

I found that all files except the files in the web-inf from my app war can be placed in couchdb. What will happen to files in web-inf?

1 / couchapp is just a tool that pushes a project document with a view, display, list of functions, etc. The default couchapp created explicitly contains code, as it is the most common way to write couchapp. There are other tools:

3 / WAR file is Java code, it will not lead you to anything with CouchDB.
