Question

How can I save an update to my rails app with a chef?

While reading the documentation, I figured out how to set up servers from scratch using knife bootstrap . But is it possible to carry out other tasks after this?

I used to use capistrano, but now we have two intermediate and ten production servers that need to be updated when a new version of the application is released.

You can also watch "Cookbook Applications . " This is a little trickier, but it allows you to deploy an application that is remote from the database.
