Spark View Engine Status

It has been some time since any feature releases from the spark team appeared in the community. Has this stopped development? With the advent of the Razor, did Louis move?
The smallest release was in March , and the latest development version was in July

The spark is probably not dead. I am pleased to say that version 1.5 was released with full compatibility with .NET 3.5 and 4 projects and ASP.NET MVC 2 and 3.

You can read the release notes here , and you can either download from there, or you can get it as a Link to the NuGet package right in VS2010

I wrote about Razor and Spark here , and as a final note, Spark development did not stop - there simply weren’t that many feature requests in the last few months - mostly bug fixes, and this is a clear sign that this is a mature structure, not a dying one .

Hope that helps

Well, the pace is not furious, but since March, of course, there has been activity:

Hope the Razor doesn't kill Spark. They are very complementary.

Spark does have markup with some code, while Razor is more like code containing markup.
