Can I open a phone app using the URL scheme in iPhone?

Can I open an application on iPhone using a URL scheme? if so, how? I know that I can dial using this:

[[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"tel://8004664411"]]; 

But I don’t want to dial the number, I just want to open the phone when I click on the phone icon on the home page.

The only recognized URL pattern for opening a phone application is tel: //
