Audio affinity library

Question

I am trying to find something like a sound affinity library for a school project. Something simple and well-documented, written in python or java, preferably that can extract a function from audio files and evaluate any forms of similarity based on them. Something like this code might also be great, but I think I don't have the skills to do something like this on my own. The Adjuster may also suit my needs. This is a complicated topic, but I hope someone can help me.
