Why is VB blazing light but Python not?

I always thought about it and saw this among many programmers. Why is a VB programmer or VB code easily discarded as too unnecessary and light, while at the same time it does not apply to Python or Python code? After all, is not Python as simple as VB? And it also provides a drag-n-drop GUI application. So why is VB flame and yet Python not?

I just wonder at curiosity.

VB has fewer flames to be lightweight than for the population of programmers who use it. VB is perceived as a person who takes a step forward from writing Excel macros, often in corporate corporate environments, cracking crapware. Being a Microsoft product does not help.

VB is also seen as a low-level language in the Microsoft ecosystem with a special design.

Python, on the other hand, is open source and cool because it is used in scientific applications, web launches, etc.

I do not defend these positions, I just give you the perspective that I saw. As others have said, language wars are usually meaningless. Sometimes you get a discussion that really touches on interesting differences between languages, but this is usually not the case.
