Providing WMDRM Licenses

I was asked to create a desktop application (C #) that predefines the WM DRM license and then plays the live stream using the built-in instance of Windows Media Player. All the examples that I can find to perform pre-delivery of the license seem to use web pages containing an object called "netobj". First of all, my question is whether it is really possible to provide a license outside the browser. And secondly, is there any code example showing how to do this?

Any help is much appreciated!

I'm not sure about WM DRM, but Microsoft's new DRM technology, called PlayReady, supports pre-delivery of licenses even outside the browser if you use the PlayReady PC SDK. Sample code is very difficult to obtain, since they issue an SDK license only to licenses, and licenses are quite expensive.

As I said, I'm not sure if WM DRM can handle this scenario, but I believe (I believe with emphasis) that it is not.
