we want to edit one DLL file that is written from C #. I check the file with a reflector and want to change only the password field of the connection string to a new password. How can I edit this without accessing the source code or recompiling the file?
Try Reflexil , a plugin for the reflector, which can change the IL code.
I think you're out of luck. This is a good example of why such elements need to be referenced by external resources.
EDIT: although I have never tried, a comment from @Testalino regarding Reflexil looks promising.
