Oracle Forms - where is the current documentation?

I just walked around the Oracle site for too long, looking for the latest documentation for Oracle Forms developers (preferably version 10g or 11g). The closest I came is this page, but none of the links I clicked led me to useful documentation.

http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/10g_forms.html

I am looking for information on how to create applications using Oracle Forms. Things like using an IDE, PL / SQL syntax for creating forms, built-in APIs, etc.

Does anyone have a better link to Forms documentation?

Finally found something here:

http://www.oracle.com/webapps/online-help/forms/10g/

There are no links to it from Oracle pages, but a direct link to a page on any forum was found. Really sad how hard it was to find.

I believe that Oracle Forms has now become APEX (Oracle Application Express).

To simplify, APEX is a web version of forms.

I think Oracle provides some ways to translate from forms to APEX.

So, you will find more information about using APEX.

EDIT: forms are not actually replaced by APEX (although I think this is necessary;)) And here is a link to the technical documentation:

A good starting point for most (all?) Oracle documents is the Oracle documentation site at http://docs.oracle.com .

For documentation on forms, follow this navigation path:

  • Go to the Oracle documentation site
  • click "Fusion Middleware"
  • Click "Developer Tools"
  • Scroll down to Traditional Oracle Tools and click Forms. It will lead you to
