Watermark video programmatically

So, I'm looking for a way to watermark the video uploaded to my site programmatically. I looked at ffmpeg-php, but that will not work, since I use shared linux hosting. I am wondering if anyone knows about how I can programmatically add a watermark to mp4 video, how you do it with GD lib in php.

Has anyone successfully done this, or does anyone know a utility that will work on shared hosting?

You will not be able to do this on shared hosting unless they provide ffmpepg support. Ffmpeg must also be compiled with vhooks and the watermark.so library included.
