How to get rid of Log [e] from math output?

My way out in math

-0.751988 - 0.0708732 Log[e] - 0.0140273 Log[e]^2

But I want mathematics to calculate this expression for me, that is, set Log [e] = 1 and summarize the terms. How to do it? I assume that he should consider functions as complex.

You probably wanted E or \[ExponentialE] which has an input alias ⋮ee⋮ .

Embedded characters are capitalized, so constants like pi, e are written as Pi, E

If I remember correctly, Mathematica uses E as the Napier number, not e. I think you used it incorrectly, so Log [e] is not extended. If this is not the case, then with the replacement Log [e] → 1, you can achieve what you want.
