Visual Studio Design Studio development time adapter add-in error

I am trying to open an Excel 2003 workbook using VSTO. but again I get the error again like

"Project cannot be created because the add-in does not work correctly and can be disabled. To check for disabled items in the Microsoft Office application, open the Help menu, click" About Microsoft Office Word "or" About Microsoft Office Excel. " and then click “Disabled items.” If “Word Visual Studio Design Adapter Add-in” or “Excel Visual Studio Design Adapter Add-in” appears, select it and click “Enable.” If not, reinstall or restore the Visual Studio installation Tools for Office. "

Can anyone help?

I searched a lot, but, unfortunately, nothing worked. finally, I uninstalled everything and installed again in the following order to avoid conflicts and problems.

1.Ms office 2003

2.Visual Studio 2008

3.Ms Office 2003 Service Pack 2

4.VSTO Runtime 3.0

and it worked for me.

Now it works without exceptions and errors.

therefore, if something does not work for your cause, you can finally go for it.

In some cases, you just need to close EXCEL.exe from TaskManager. I had the same problem and now it works.

Perhaps this is the same problem I encountered with Time Time adapter errors using VSTO:

http://bishoponvsto.wordpress.com/2009/08/17/vsto-design-time-adaptor-error/

Just before the repair, as was said, I quickly checked the task manager and noticed that the Excel.exe process was still running. This process ended, and he set himself the problem.

It seems that sometimes when debugging / starting up your project, if it fails or stops before the Excel application closes with your code, the development time adapter freezes. This happened to me because Automation Excetuable left the Excel instance in visible = false mode.
