PDFTK - and the ability to change the default view

I am successfully combining PDF files using PDFTK, the pages that are used to create pdf have the value β€œclick to show one page at a time” (basically the whole first page is displayed when opening a pdf file, depending on the height of the page).

however, the generated PDF by default returns to fill the reader based on its width (not all first pages show).

Do you know a way to control the presentation of a generated PDF file? because I would prefer the whole page to be displayed based on its height?

Best wishes

Daniel,

Thank you for your message. When using pdftk to build a new PDF file from PDF pages or documents (via the cat operation), the new PDF file has no display settings. Thus, the resulting PDF file is displayed using the default settings set in your viewer's settings. Pdftk has no way to adjust the display mode, but I will add this to my wishlist. In the meantime, you can change your Reader / Acrobat settings in your preferred view as a workaround.
