Google Maps API 3 - Search for a map, for example, on maps.google.com

Question

Something seems to be missing from me, so I hope someone can point to the place I should be looking for. I have a google map on my HTML page that I manipulate to load markers and add markers on click, now I want a search box so that people can search for a common area before clicking to add a location. I am reading the Google Maps API development guide , but I cannot find how to do it ..
I know that this is not enough for me, so someone can point me in the right direction!

This will be the geocoding you need ... This is the google request process for the location.

Here is a great example of geocoding as shown in the sample code.

In the geocoding developer’s guide, you get a ton of results; I agree with you, although it may be a little difficult to find what you want. It is located in the Services section of the manual.
