How to use .net assembly installed in GAC in my project

I need to pass the assembly installed in the GAC in my project. can any body explain to me the steps to use the assembly installed in the GAC.

Recently, we have received several messages where developers install assemblies in the PAC, and then why they do not see that they are listed in the Add Link dialogs. This should be clear to most developers.

Basically, you just need to right-click on your project and select Add reference... ; that the .NET tab should contain all registered GAC assemblies. You do not need to have a copy of the DLL and do not access the Windows folder.

If this does not work, then you have a problem setting up the machine and you will need to contact the support staff for your desktop or follow @ Andrew answer
