Finding Good CS Videos

Question

I am wondering if there are any good free videos from actual computer science courses (college) in hardware and programming ... both. Does anyone know where I can find a few to consider some concepts?

failed to find a nest at iTunes University, just a bunch of mostly advertising junk for each university, none of the real value or actual class entries

Here's what I found on Google: Free computer science lecture courses , but some of them are broken, so you may need to googling further to get the right link.

Here are a few starters:

• Stanford: Programming Methodology
• Stanford: programming paradigms

I chose the spring semester because they are longer than iirc. Here are a few courses that are more advanced (and less dry). A.

• Stanford: Machine Learning
• Stanford: An Introduction to Robotics

You might want to check out the Stanford University Channel Youtube . There are some computer science courses there.

Google, Yahoo and O'Reilly have excellent Tech Talks on YouTube and their developer blogs.

I highly recommend Crockford on JavaScript . In the first lecture, he gives an excellent overview of the history of programming languages.

If you are interested in modern technology, I also highly recommend a series of lectures on MapReduce Tech Talk on CouchDB , as well as Yahoo talk on Node.js
