Can Facebook fb: comments tell me when a new comment will be posted?

I am using fb: comments as described here .

Comments work fine, but I can’t find a notification method when adding a new comment. Is there a way to easily find new comments (without visiting my 3000 articles each time)?

I know that the FB made some changes to the notification method, but I hope that they left a way to do this.

I do not see the way right now. Maybe one day they will add it to real-time updates: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/api/realtime
