The main drawback is that IIS will no longer cache components using modified date . and whenever you change the contents of any component, you need to press ctrl + F5 to force new content to be received.

one solution to this problem could be to add a request to your static components, and this sequence of requests should be dynamic and confidential, so whenever you change your content you only need to change the request and your problem will be solved.
