"Please indicate product option" in Magento.

At Magento, I use related products and I have a configurable product as a related product of a related product. This configurable product has 4 simple products as associated products of the configurable product.

The chain is as follows: - a batch product - a configurable product (associated with a packaged product) - simple products (associated with custom products)

Now, on the page for viewing related products in the interface, I get this message:

Specify Product Option

although I filled in all the necessary fields for all products as needed,

This validation error message occurs when a product is added to the cart.

Any tips? I am stuck on this day with this problem.

To increase the answer to Andrey, if you want a configurable product in a kit that includes the necessary parameters, you will need to change the templates to display the product parameters during rendering. If there is a difference in price, you will basically rewrite JS to support the dynamic pricing mechanism on the page.

Once the form is submitted, you will need to change the classes and controllers of the basket in order to maintain the preservation of product parameters, as items are placed in the basket. You also need to redefine prices, as before, to support any user pricing. Ensure that the basket resource classes correctly maintain simple products under custom products under the product package.

I probably missed a few elements. This is why it is not currently supported.: /

For other users, this message is with a different product configuration ...

The original error message can be easily reproduced using the standard Magento admin screens (any download added to a group or package will call it - regardless of the setting “link can be purchased separately”).

For grouped or related downloadable products, this is a known bug (see http://www.magentocommerce.com/bug-tracking/issue?issue=10864 ). The bug report describes a suitable fix for them and although it is assumed that it has been fixed in new distributions, it remains unresolved in Magento ver. 1.5.0.1.

Magento does not support batch products with a choice of products that have some necessary parameters (configuration files downloaded with links, simple products with any necessary option, etc.).

Your configuration is not valid for the system and is not supported. In fact, Magento does not show the products mentioned above as a possible choice for choosing package options. If you were able to make such a package using the standard Magento admin panel, report an error with a detailed step-by-step case at http://www.magentocommerce.com
