Calculation of the direction of rotation

If I have four points in a 2D space that are then rotated m degrees, the best or most efficient way to determine the direction of rotation (clockwise / counterclockwise) of rotation.

I know the point before and after the rotation.

I tried to take into account the lowest point and the highest point (based on y value) and comparing the difference x, for example. (+ ve or -ve), but this does not seem very reliable, and I doubt it is an effective solution.

Any point will act if you have both before and after coordinates. Take the cross product of the previous in the after. The sign of the resulting vector will tell you clockwise (-) or counterclockwise (+).

Do you know which item? if you do, one of them is enough
