UPS High Volume Delivery Solutions

this may not be the right place for this question, but the reason I ask here is that I am a programmer and think about implementing my own solution.

We ship about 1000 packages per day using UPS.

There is currently a lot of manual data in the UPS delivery software. the employee will receive the package, place it on the scale and enter the address and all the necessary data necessary for sending the goods.

I’m thinking about just creating a 2d barcode programmatically, which, when scanned, will automatically fill out the UPS shipping order form.

Has anyone done something like this in .NET? How do companies usually handle high volume UPS shipments? How do you automate processes?

thank you for all your understanding

Look at importing a WorldShip key. Basically create a barcode in your application - there are many ways to use .NET - with a unique key or identifier that looks for orders in the database. The WorldShip display will pull out the corresponding record and fill in the values using a CSV file or database.

It's hard to understand what you're integrating with, whether it's a web application or a desktop application.

There are other options. As a rule, the “sales representative” with the UPS has contacts in the company to help people work better with UPS systems. See: http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/techsupport/worldship/integrate.html
