In the EnvDTE Debugger.GetExpression method, what does "UseAutoExpandRules" mean?

the documentation explains that this parameter should be "true if auto-expansion rules should be used, otherwise false.", but what does that mean?

I can not find any explanation on the Internet.

Found an answer - the parameter refers to the autoexp.dat file in the section "C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0 \ Common7 \ Packages \ Debugger \" (or the equivalent of autoexp.cs for .NET), which automatically expands the elements in the clock and tooltips to show the most important elements.
