Creating Globalhema Global Options Patches

I asked this question about the superuser, he did not receive views in 24 hours. Thus, even though I was not a strict programming issue, I ask it here where all the cool Mathematica kids are hanging:

I'm trying to set the default value for the “Footer on the first page” option to “File” → “Printing options” → “Headers and footers” ... Since this setting is set for each laptop, I try to set the “Global Preferences” option ("Format →" Options Inspector ... ") under" Notebook Settings "->" Print Settings "->" Print Settings "->" FirstPageFooter ".

When I set this global setting, it remains installed, but the new laptops that I open still have the “Footer on the first page” setting set, as well as their own settings for the “Notebook” settings → etc. etc. → "Primary dialing" is set to "True."

I would think that new laptops inherit global options. Is there any way to do this?

EDIT: The reason I want to do this is because I want to get rid of the "Printed in math for students" footer, so any other way to get rid of it sequentially (like changing the resource from where the text will draw) would be acceptable .

This is a kind of "restriction / protection" created by the Student version, and is not intended to be removed from within Mathematica.

I found several posts on the Internet:

"Mathematica for Students" has a footnote "Printed by Mathematica for Students," which prints at the bottom of each page of the document.

Within the Student versions there is no possibility. If you have access to a professional version (possibly in a school lab), you can transfer your laptop and print this version. Or you could use a proven and true smear. Forum moderator Tom Zeller

However, I think you can remove it from the generated output. Just print a good driver for the file (e.g. PostScript), define a footer (I don't have a student version to help you learn more about this) and after processing the file replacing the generated text or image for spaces.

I generated (with Mma Std ver) the same .ps file with and without footer, and noted that the file does not change, with the exception of the easily identifiable block before the PostScript directive [%% PageTrailer], which can be deleted without damage. file integrity.

NTN!

Edit

Modification Stylesheets\Default.nb worked for me. Just changed the line "FirstPageHeader"->True .

This worked for 7.0.1 Home Edition, which has a header rather than a footer. YMMV.

SetOptions[$FrontEnd,DockedCells->{}]
