Download the latest files during the installation of Inno Setup

Is it possible that during installation to download files from a web server using Inno Setup?

Take a look at InnoTools Downloader ( http://www.sherlocksoftware.org/page.php?id=50 ).

The InnoTools Downloader recommended by the accepted answer has not been updated since 2008. It does not work with the Inno Setup version for Unicode and does not support HTTPS (among others). Do not use it.

You can use the Inno Download plugin from Mitrich Software.

  • This is an InnoSetup script and DLL that allows you to download files as part of your installation.
  • It supports FTP, HTTP and HTTPS.
  • This is a kind of replacement for InnoTools Downloader. Only a few changes are required.
  • It provides a decent loading display and support for HTTPS and mirrors .

There's also DwinsHs (the bootloader for installing Inno) .
