Before you do anything, especially if you intend to sell on the AppStore, make sure that these methods / algorithms are patented. Read what happened to the above blog author.
you can check out the EchoPrint CodeGen library from The Echo Nest. They even have a fully functional iOS code example .
You can find additional links to open source fingerprint software in this MusicBrainz article , but AFAIK's EchoPrint library is the only one that has a license compatible with iOS apps.

I also notice that you put a tag "voice recognition". Just to make sure that voice recognition has nothing to do with identifying audio / acoustic fingerprints!
