Iphone Developer: no identity found

Question

My development machine unexpectedly decided to stop installing on my device this morning, while the process code designation gives the error "no ident found".

I checked my keychain and my developer certificate exists, valid until 2012.

The only links I found on google speak of jailbreak development on a phone that I don’t have.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

In the build settings for the "target", try resetting the code signature identifier. This often happens when working with multiple developers or recently added devices in a provisioning profile.

If any of your Provisioning Profiles expired, update them. If this is not the case, go to your project settings, there you can find the code and a bunch of other useful things. Change it to the correct one, not the “iphonedeveloper" - the one that has your name!
