Calling one setup R from another

It seems that I cannot compile RPostgreSQL for Windows x64, and after an extensive search I could not find the precompiled binary. To continue, I installed the 32-bit version of Postgre and used 32-bit R for all database operations.

I need to do most of my work in 64-bit R, so switching back and forth has become a bit painful, especially since it requires the save () and load () operation every time I need to execute a request.

I am wondering if it is possible to call one R-installation directly from another? For example, can I just transfer requests to my 32-bit R installation and get the result? I think there are other cases where it would be useful to call another R-installation.

Everything that I came up with uses the system () call, either directly, either in pgsql or in 32-bit R, but this does not allow for very efficient data transfer.

I would really sincerely appreciate any advice or help!

PS I would rather ask how to compile RPostgreSQL for x64, but since I understand the rules here, such a question would be inappropriate, since this is not a general question (for example, I will need step-by-step instructions, since I do not have the necessary skills).
