Strange errors on my Asp.Net MVC 3 site

On my Asp.Net MVC 3 site, I have an error logging feature that sends me e-mail messages whenever an unhandled error appears on the site. But lately, I get strange errors, for example:

The controller for the path '/store/admin/login.php' was not found or does not implement IController.

or

Controller for path '/templates/beez/templateDetails.xml' not found or does not implement IController

Someone seems to be trying to access pages that do not exist on the site. I mean, this is not even a php site ...

Any idea what this is? Is this some kind of attack? And if so, what to worry about?

Your site is tested for some known flaws in various web infrastructures. I would not be particularly worried about this, but it should strengthen that you need to take security seriously. Make sure that you follow the security guidelines and install the latest OS and framework updates (on a regular basis).
