I just sent the app to the App Store for the first time. During my build, I set the deployment target in iOS 4.2. When using the application loader, I was asked if the binary was “verified and qualified” for iOS4. I chose NO.
In general, I wonder what this question is for.
- If you say "YES", then your application is ready for all versions of iOS version 4.0 and higher?
- Do you get any special advertisements if your application really fits?
- Since I answered NO, does this increase my risk of not accepting me?
- By choosing NO, does this limit the distribution of my applications in any way?
All information on this topic is welcome.
Thanks!
