IOS Simulator on Mac does not show email or ActiveSync options

I'm trying to verify email access in the iPhone iPad simulator, and there seems to be no way to use the "email" POP3 or Activesync from the simulator SDK.

How to configure Simulator to access email?

No. The simulator is not intended for full-fledged playback of a real iPhone or iPod Touch, therefore, instead of the "emulator", instead of the name "emulator" should be called "simulator". This is one of the missing features.

The iOS email app does not exist in the simulator. The only system applications are a web browser (for testing sites) and an address book / photo application (for pasting content into these databases so that you can access it in the applications you write).

You will need to test these things on your iPhone or iPod Touch or iPad.
