ASP.NET Performance Power Tools "fix mixed tabs"; which gives pure HTML?

I have productivity tools installed in my installation of Visual Studion 2010. My college developer is working on a Mac. When I implement its html in VS, the "fix mixed tabs" component asks me "You have mixed tabs and spaces" with two options, "tabify" or "untabify".

Which option gives us the purest HTML when a website is called from a browser? Is there a difference in client-side rendering / loading time?

I suggest using tabify if you are editing html. C # .net code is not safe to use because it adheres to the C # coding agreement, in which spaces as tabs

It is possible to disable this warning in Power Tools 2013. Tools โ†’ Options โ†’ Performance Power Tools โ†’ Fix Mixed Tabs (not one of the sub-items in the left menu, the 8th item in the list on the right) โ†’ off

In general, this warning means that in some places the tab is used for indentation and spaces in another.

for instance

"\t<p>Text goes here\n </p>"

Here, the first line is indented with a tab, and the second with four spaces. The choice depends on your preference. Personally, I prefer spaces (Untabify in this case). However, one tab takes up one byte, and indentation with spaces takes four. If your html is about 1000 lines long, using tabs will reduce your final HTML to 3000+ bytes.

Tabs and spaces are recognized by all systems and usually take up four spaces, so they should look the same in all regular editors. There is no difference in rendering, but loading times may vary for the above reason.
