Rails Annotated Segmentation Error

There are a few questions that apply to the skirt around this question, but nothing that really comes to what I am looking for.

After I bundle install my Gemfile, listed below, I ran annotate and came up with the following error:

 /Users/nickcoelius/.rvm/gems/ ruby-1.8.7-p334@nick /gems/sqlite3-ruby-1.3.2/lib/sqlite3/sqlite3_native.bundle: [BUG] Segmentation fault ruby 1.8.7 (2011-02-18 patchlevel 334) [i686-darwin10] Abort trap

I am running ruby ​​1.8.7, rails 3.0.7 and Mac OS 10.6.7. Thoughts?

This error was probably caused by the rvm crash. I had the same problem and after an hour of Googling I found the following solution:

  • Remove all gems: gem list | cut -d" " -f1 | xargs gem uninstall -aIx gem list | cut -d" " -f1 | xargs gem uninstall -aIx
  • gem install rake
  • gem install bundler
  • bundle install

Now it should work

Why don't you try bundle exec annotate ?
