How to create a Daemon app in Cocoa?

I am newbie. Can anyone help me create a daemon application in Cocoa? Went through resources here, but I couldn’t understand correctly. Been impressed here from 2 days. Should the app be a basic tool? Should the code be written in C? How do I implement launchd? I will not find for this full mentor? Please help me.,,
