Can't find the .android file on my mac to get the card key?

I am making an Android application in which I need to include Google maps. I read and found out that I need to buy cards before I can do this.

I need to find the debug.keystore file on my mac so that I can get the map key for my application.

To do this, I checked the preferences-> android-> build option, from where I find the path to the debug.keystore file.

But when I go for it, I can not find the .android folder.

I even searched the focus of this folder, but I could not get any results.

Where can I find the folder?

it turns out that .android-folder has been in my home folder, but it was hidden. i had to show it and then i found the keystore file
