Android Gestures over the image

Question

I continue to study with android and now I have reached the place where I meditate with gestures.

What I still have is an activity screen, and I can place a toast when a gesture template is recognized.

What I would like to do is display the center of the image screen, which in this case will be the stiffness image for user to copy. I would also like the image to be the only area for detecting gestures. This I would like the user to poorly trace the gesture, although following the manual is not what I'm trying to achieve.

I think I need to extend ImageView with a GestureListener, but I don't understand a bit how to do this. Can someone set an example or point me to a good tutorial?
