Java.io.IOException: Prepare failed: status = 0x1

I get it when using phonegap`s Media. the song is not playing, instead I get an error code 5

any ideas?

The error due to common errors in the basic resources

What you should look at: the main resource, most likely, it is a file that you want to play. Perhaps it is not available, it may have damaged, possibly, the type is not supported.

It found a similar problem with the contents of an audio file when there are problems with Android. I'm not sure why this is happening.

I assume you are using mp3, try using the .ogg file instead.
