UpdateSourceTrigger PropertyChanged in Silverlight?

I'm sure most of you have come across this when you enter a text field that you like to instantly filter the ViewCollection according to type.

Its very straightforward in WPF, just change the binding of UpdateSourceTrigger for text to PropertyChanged.

As expected, Silverlight does not have it. Instead, there is only the default and explicitly.

I had an idea to associate interaction behavior with the TextChanged event of a text field. Would you recommend this approach or is there a better way?

Behavior is how it was allowed in my team, and I consider it a generally accepted method. I also saw articles resolving it with Attached Properties (maybe a cleaner XAML syntax, but I never tried it).
